Capt. John Rogers

Capt. John Rogers, Bass Fishing in Maine

Hi there,

My name is John and I was born and raised in Freeport, Maine by two amazing and wonderful parents.

My passion for the outdoors started on a saltwater marsh and trout brook many decades ago. My mom taught me to trout fish when I was just three years old, my uncle taught me to fly-fish at the age of 9, and my dad taught me to hunt by the age of 10 years old.

I have been a Master Maine Guide and US Coast Guard Captain for over 30 years and have guided extensively through-out Maine and in the Florida Keys.  I have guided hunters, canoeists, campers and fishermen, and find that this has always stirred a passion in me that brings me even closer to being fully alive.

The wealth of information, knowledge, wisdom, and skills I share in and out of the classroom; academically and hands-on in the field, comes from all the experiences I’ve gathered from spending time as an outdoorsman in the woods and on the waters.

When I am not feeding others information to become a Registered Maine Guide, fine tuning outdoor skills, gaining confidence as a woodsmen, you can find me guiding fishermen either in a remote trout pond, on a river, lake or pond - simply chasing fish somewhere, anywhere - to awaken what's alive within me.

Tami Rogers Shamanic Healer

Thank you, Thank you for landing here.

WOW! I think I'm way more long winded than John. SMILING!

Let me introduce myself. I'm Tami, a Maine Native, and for a few decades now I have been a Registered Maine Guide in Nature... and a Sacred Healing Guide for the Soul, Mind, and Body.

As a sacred healer I am a practicing Shaman, Reiki Master Teacher, Certified Hypnotherapist and Certified Past Life & Womb Regressionist. I see clients when their Soul Spirit is unwell and it’s effecting their emotional and physical well-being.

I have loved nature and her whispers for as long as I can remember. I am a true believer that spending time in the woods and on the waters helps us to heal in one form or another.

Along this winding path, my journey, I have sought and continue to seek non-invasive ways to heal my own Soul Spirit. In doing so, I have been lead to amazing healers, teachers, and guides that helped me heal on the inside, while guiding me outward to bring forth any natural and innate abilities to guide others into their own healing.

I have dedicated most of my life to the studies and practices of ancient healing traditions that are blended with new approaches of the millennium. I have studied with many great sages and through learning, listening, and experience in doing this work I have come to understand that PHYSICAL and SPIRITUAL healing go hand in hand, and most often, Spiritual healing is necessary before Physical healing can take place.

I am passionate about feeding the soul old and new information that supports growth. This work is AMAZING and it is my soul’s passion; my reason for being born. Each time I practice, each class I teach, or retreat I lead - I rise to the top of my world, stepping into my best self, and sharing space with you - my tribe - is so fulfilling.

AHH, I just love this work – It LIGHTS Me UP!”

Connecting our souls with nature is ever "Soul" healing.

AND... It IS "Soul" beautiful!
